Senator Giessel, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Resources Senate Committee Substitute offered on page 2273. Without objection, SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 161(RES) was adopted. Senator Wielechowski offered Amendment No. 1 : Page 2, lines 17 - 21: Delete "[NOT BE USED TO MAKE A CONTRIBUTION TO ANY CANDIDATE FOR POLITICAL OFFICE OR TO ANY ORGANIZATION SUPPORTING OR OPPOSING BALLOT PROPOSITIONS OR TO PAY EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH LOBBYING THE LEGISLATURE OR ADMINISTRATION]" Insert "and may not be used to make a contribution to any candidate for political office or to any organization supporting or opposing ballot propositions or to pay expenses associated with lobbying the legislature or administration" Senator Wielechowski moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 1. Senator Giessel objected, then withdrew her objection. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted. Senator Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Without objection, it was so ordered.
